HYDERABAD: Vaastu changes to NTR Bhavan, the Telugu Desam’s headquarters here, have almost been completed nearly three months after they were initiated. The irresistible question now being asked by political watchers is whether the ‘better Vaastu’ will bail out TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu from the CBI probe and help him regain power in 2014.
Party founder NT Ramarao’s son and cine actor N Balakrishna was the one who suggested to Naidu that some changes to the building were imperative if Lady Luck was to smile on the party and its chief. His advice came at a time the party was smarting under a series of defeats in the general elections and by-elections. He even brought some Vaastu experts in September this year and had the necessary changes made to the party office.
On Sunday, Balakrishna, accompanied by party leader Sujana Chowdary, Vaastu expert and chief executive officer of NTR Memorial Trust M Venkat, inspected the changes and expressed satisfaction over the changes, sources said.
As per the suggestions of the Vaastu expert, the party demolished the existing security guard room and constructed a new one at the main entrance of NTR Bhavan.
The old entrance was closed and a new one was constructed a few feet away from the old one.
Ironically, it was after the Vaastu changes were initiated in September, Naidu’s rival and YSR Congress honorary president YS Vijayalakshmi filed a petition in the High Court which ordered a CBI probe into the assets of Naidu and his family members.
It was not the first time for Naidu to make Vaastu changes to NTR Bhavan. He made several changes to it after the 2009 elections.

Express News Service

HYDERABAD: It appears that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu is going Vastu way to capture power in the next elections. After two successive defeats, Naidu has decided to make slight changes to the TDP office (NTR Bhavan).
It is learnt that N Balakrishna, the star campaigner in the next elections for the party, spent a lot of time at the party office recently along with a vastu expert. As per the suggestions of the vastu expert, the party has decided to demolish the existing security guard room and construct a new one at the main entrance of the NTR Bhavan. Sources said the main entrance would be closed permanently and a new one would be constructed in place of the present security guard room.
It may be recalled that after the party's defeat in the last elections, Naidu stopped entering the party office from the main entrance. Naidu's convoy would directly enter the party office from the rear gate.
Except, Naidu's car no other vehicle of any leader was allowed inside the party office.
After the last elections, the front gate of the office has been closed permanently and a wall was constructed there.
Now, another entrance is being removed where the security guard room would be constructed. As Naidu is in Z plus category, a round the clock vigil was provided at the party office and also at his residence.
Naidu also made some changes as per vastu at his residence too recently. He stopped addressing the media from his house in Jubilee Hills. Naidu constructed a temporary room for media briefings near his main house. The newlyconstructed office was located on the land, owned by Naidu's son Lokesh. However, party sources refused to share the name of the vastu expert.
