HYDERABAD: There will neither be a separate Telangana unit in the TDP nor a Coordination Committee for the region. The existing Telangana Telugu Desam Party Forum (TTDPF) will continue.

This was the outcome of a meeting held by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu with party T-seniors today. Naidu has tightened his grip over warring T-leaders and, at the same time, gave full freedom to them to carry forward their movement for separate state. After the meeting, all the Telangana leaders sang the unity tune.

“We have reconciled our differences and decided to continue our fight for separate Telangana,” a TDP leader told Express. Janardhan Reddy will continue as the TTDPF convener. The Forum will not have any other leader except him. “I will fight for a separate Telangana under the TTDPF. There will be no separate unit for the Telangana TDP,” Janardhan Reddy said.

Earlier, Janardhan Reddy caused embarrassment to the party by holding separate meetings. Recently, he came under attack by senior MLA M Narasimhulu for his attitude. In today’s meeting, Naidu reportedly told the T seniors that they were free to plan and organise suitable agitations in their respective areas. He, however, wanted them to brief him on any key policy decisions affecting Telangana region.

Sources said there was a heated argument between Janardhan Reddy and Naidu at one point of time. Nagam reportedly told Naidu that if the party did not take a firm decision on T, it would be finished in the region. Naidu reportedly shot back: “I know better than you whether the party will be finished or will flourish.” After that Nagam agreed to work with the other leaders under the TTDPF.

Naidu pointed out that it was the Congress which had promised to deliver T and TRS which had promised to bring the T. “The TDP has a limited role and could only launch agitations for T along with the masses,” Naidu reportedly informed his party leaders.

And it is the end of polticial career of NJR and his likes. Every one knows what their commtment is. He seems to easily forget the public ire and fears the chappal beating of Naidu more than the blows given by common man. next time he would get the beating of his life time in political field.
