174 HoDs Given Drawing Powers

Hyderabad: The state government on Monday conferred drawing and disbursing powers on 174 heads of departments who will function for Telangana state from June 2.
Orders to this effect were issued on Monday.
The heads of departments required to draw funds for the government as per the provisions of AP Treasury Code. Telangana officials too will be given drawing and disbursing powers from June 2.
"Any head of department, who is not listed in the orders and newly-created in the state of Telangana, shall send necessary proposals to the finance (TFR) department separately for delegation of drawing and disbursing powers," said principal secretary (finance) Ajeya Kallam in the orders.
